Please apply to the AMU coordinator before 10 September 2025 following the procedures in order to be nominated to study at AppState.

Deadlines for nomination and application are as follows:
- Nomination from the AMU: by September 15, 2025;
- Submitting documents and online application: by October 15, 2025.

Admission Requirements: A normal TOEFL range is 78 and 6.0 IELTS. Students who have not taken the TOEFL or IELTS can undergo a language evaluation by their home university and submit this as proof of language ability. If you have students who scored below a 78 or 6.0 please contact our office in advance of nomination.

Courses: Incoming students have access to most Appalachian courses with the exception of Graduate courses, Nursing Courses, Capstone Courses, and some Upper Level courses. Course permission is by the discretion of the academic department. Students are encouraged to select 2-4 backup selections.
