We would like to invitation you for the next gathering from ‘Follow the discipline with PhD series’, taking
place in @Forum. MedTech, AstraZeneca building, at Postępu 14 in Warsaw on the 14 th of October
2024, at 15:00.

“From Stem Cell investigation to Clinical Trial survey Team”. We encourage you to perceive to the career
story of Maciej Sułkowski, Global survey Associate Director, Late transportation Oncology, Program
Management. You will hear about his experience of the academic investigation and discover how he
ended up in pharmaceutical industry. The next lecture from the Follow the discipline with PhD series
will take place on the 14th of October 2024, at 15:00-15:30 in Forum. MedTech.

Maciej graduated from the Faculty of Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He also
holds a PhD in Medical Sciences granted by the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum following
multidisciplinary investigation on the induced Pluripotent Stem Cells application in animal models of the
human diseases.

After his PhD Maciej performed investigation as a Post Doc at the Jagiellonian University Collegium
Medicum focusing on Mesenchymal Stem Cells. Subsequently, he pivoted his career towards clinical
trials. Firstly, he was liable for overseeing the conduct of non-commercial clinical trials at the
university, then worked as a monitor in the CRO and presently he holds a position of the Global
Study Associate manager in AstraZeneca.

The goal of the talk is not only to discuss different career paths but besides to advance the Industrial
PhD program conducted by the AstraZeneca Warsaw Site. If it sounds like an thought worth exploring,
